Have you ever read “Momo”?
There is something that Momo taught us.
It’s about time.
We are trying to figure out our own answer to time.
As adults, we have a very rational and efficient use of time.
As an adult, I have learned to use my time in a very rational and efficient way.
I have no major complaints about my work. I enjoy raising my children. But I’m already at this age.
I wonder if I will ever grow old.
I wonder if I can enjoy it more.
In the starlight.
The time when I walked with my friends in the starlight, talking as if we had eternal time.
The time when I was absorbed in my club activities.
The time I spent playing Dracula without sleeping.
The time I read through all the volumes of Slam Dunk in one sitting
The time I spent just watching the fire.
The feeling that time passes so slowly, so intensely, so engrossingly, so quickly.
The feeling of elation after watching a movie, as if I had somehow grown up.
A feeling of elation.
What do they all have in common?
The way I spent my time when I was absorbed in something or challenging something.
Is it possible to experience the passing of time like that anymore?
Don’t just say, “That was a good time.
Can’t we make that time flow again?
We searched for a place where we could spend such time.
